| good way of indication the health of the pack.

The DUO does this - it tells you the pack resistance in milli-Ohms.
It's not a direct indication because it varies with rated capacity, type of cell, temperature and state of charge.
Hyperion has "LCL", "LCX", "VX" (Voltage Extreme) and "VZ" (Voltage Zenith) packs and they all have different internal resistances.
Quality LiPo packs do not 'just go wrong'. A LiPo will fail because you over discharged it or let it get too hot, often the case is just one cell is discharged too much, it's much easier to do this on cheap packs because their have low specs.
The VZ packs can always be charged at 2C because their IR is low - it doesn't generate any heat and so the polymer doesn't get crystallized. |
