I was going to recommend RTV. This is the same as Goop. Shoe Goo seems pretty common. We use RTV often at work to hold connectors on products that need to be "ruggedized". ie - Sold to the Marine Corp or the oil industry. Seems to work well. Never seen a unit returned because a cable came out.

Just remember if you use rtv, silicon..etc, make sure that it is safe for electrical connections. Some of the brands out there will deteriate electrical wiring.
