Hello

Man I hate to see a thread with good news go south. First off be happy that people with some seroius engineering skills and resources are getting together to produce something. Its not too often you get people like this producing equipment for the hobby...if you actually investigate youll find that some of the models made were designed technicians and backyard engineers...

I just hope to see high quality items come out for a pretty reasonable price and possibly some high end flybarless helis right out of the box

If anything you guys should support his efforts because in the grand scheme of things you need good competiton to keep prices down. And lately there hasnt been much competiton(over a broad range of helis) for Align

When I was referring to quality and china I was reffering to this statement in the press release:

So, yes they have manufacturing in Italy and the USA, but let's be real. It is prob cheaper to make in china. Many companies in my industry manufacture in china and assemble in the USA. They are then allowed to say and label as made in the USA. I was just curious as the actual production of the Aurora. BTW, I wouldn't touch a Trex if it was free.

I still own a trex 450. I couldn't sell it since everybody has one. I try not to touch it. I get somebody to put the battery in for me and set it on the flight line. Keep thinking I might catch something from it, like bird flu or something worse.

It has a hughes 500e body on it and flies like crap but the wife likes it and I can't sell it so I kept it.

Not in California...they have to be labeled as assembled in the USA. Ask Spektrum or Castle about that one...

I think your business will run faster and your customer enjoy this movement Augusto :-)

I live in Thailand where many nice creative people and finest skill both production and flight(KASAMA is the great sample for manufacture many heli parts..a young heli pilot take supported from Hirobo and others take support from Aling both will fly in 3Dmaster this month). Take a look and find someone to join your team.

This is a very recent deal. Lets make sure there is no misunderstanding. In no way have we said that there will be an Aurora 50 at the 3D masters. What will be shown at the 3D masters is the Vision 50.

The reason we felt we needed to let people know of the existence of the Aurora 50 project is because when we announced the deal it made all the sense to let people know what products were benefiting from it.

I can just see another Aurora deal. The heli will be shown at 3d masters, everyone will be hyped up at a quick release date that keeps on getting pushed back for like 2 years.
