i have some video i recorded today of a storm we had.. good stuff.. anyway i put the video on my computer and it plays fine with sound and all with quicktime player.. the file is an AVI file. it transferes to movie maker fine however there is no sound in movie maker even after i publish the video.. so basicaly everything is great except for there is no sound.. i tried installing a couple of the most recomended codecs packages but still no luck.. any input apreciated thanks!

In the movie maker program there is an option for sound off or sound on--- you may have clicked sound off without even realizing it.

thanks for the reply.. that didnt work but i decided to purchase a program that converts anything and it is sweet... very easy to use. here is the video i converted with it.. (already posted further up) http://www.youtube.com/user/silencecom
