It seems they say the Arizona can be customized in voltage settings going to the RX! Wnen I increase the voltage by connecting the pins with a paper clip both the RUDD and Gain leads go up uniformly.I thought the RUDD lead was fixed at 5V according to the manual? Why is it increasing?Am I doing something wrong?I would like 6V on the rest of my servos without frying my RUDDER servo.

has two outputs

one is fixed for the rudder /gyro

the other is adjustable to 6 volts

You are taking readings from the correct lead if you want to dial in the volatage.

But if you are checking for a constant voltage for the gyro/rudder you are checking in the wrong place. The output voltage is supplied at the side on the regulator (no leads). The wires coming off the regulator, supply voltage to the rx and only pass the signal through the regulator.

Are you sure you have the Arizona hooked up right?? The only time I have seen this happen is when the battery check lead was plugged into the Rx. The ONLY wires that connected to the Rx are the 2 from the gyro leads.

The two leads that go to the rudder and gain channel on the RX *will* carry the variable voltage - that's how the RX gets power. The two that go to the gyro will be fixed at 5. If you get variable voltage to the gyro, you probably have them reversed. As others have already stated, the signal is a simple wire pass through, so the gyro will work either way, but at the wrong voltage if you get it backwards . . .

So take the voltage coming off the two inputs not the leads!?? Correct?

The green/red leads go to the RX, and power it with the variable voltage. The jacks on the Arizona go to the gyro and have 5 volts . . .
