COBB COUNTY, Ga. (MyFox Atlanta) – Investigators with Cobb County police said a boy was decapitated at Six Flags amusement park Saturday.

Authorities said the incident happened just after 2:00 p.m. Saturday. A church group went to the amusement park and a group of boys with the group jumped a fence and entered an area that was marked off limits.

One of the boys jumped up and tried to grab someone's feet who was on the Batman ride. The boy ended up being decapitated.

Investigators did not release the boy's age, name or the name of the church the boy was traveling with.

I won't say what I'm really thinking, because that would be considered racist.

Woah! I wonder at what point that would've been considered a good idea? I remember a few years ago when an employee was decapitated while retrieving a shoe on the Batman ride.

It may sound cruel, but it probably is best that such characters are removed from the gene pool.

Hate to say it but Six flags will probably be sued by the kids parents. THAT'S WRONG! The way I look at it the kid jumped the fence(s) and was not suppose to be in that area, there are reasons that the area has fences and POSTED, well the kid found out the hard way and the park should not be heald responsible for his death in any way shape or form.

Damn that ground is hard!

Cowjock, the signs were there to limit their liability. There is fine print when you purchase a park ticket the verbage helps protect the park from the mindlessly stupid.

The reality is that the family will file suit but the corporation will settle and insurance will pay out a small sum. In this particular case, it isn't likely to be much since the kid did climb two fences and passed several signs.

I am sure thousands of attorneys have beat a path to those folks. I bet even some of the riders have been contacted by the vultures to ask the park can pay them for the trauma of witnessing that boy lose his head.

I hated working for attorneys -- can you tell?

One less young man, that's grown up to believe you can do what-ever they want with no consequence's. Too bad he had to loose his head to teach the others a life lesson. When in the path of a rollercoaster traveling 50 MPH, ...DUCK!!!.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

If he had smoked a joint, he'd still be alive (he would've never left the couch and would still be watching the toon channel)

At the very least it would have been too much hassle to climb not one fence but two..

Gee, and in my original thread on this story I didn't say what I was really thinking for fear of it sounding cruel. I guess everyone is of the same opinion, WHAT A MORON!

That's what bothers me like as I said before, there is absolutely no grounds for a lawsuit. But I'm sure there will be. There should be something in the system to prevent a LS from even being filed in such a case. In fact the parents should be held responsible for their delinquent kid!

six flags in atl sux, full of hooligans that use one hand to dribble the 7 basketballs they won that day while the other hand holds up a pair of shorts that could fit 3 full grown adults in them.

A mecca for gangsta (they call them church groups here) activity if you ask me. I feel bad for the girl that lost her feet recently but not this idiot...
