I purchased those xtreme turnbuckles for my hbk2 but the plastic linkages are too loose on the thread. Anyone experience this?

Mine were too tight. Are you using new linkages? If so, Esky, B400, Align?

I was using the linkages that came with the product. I am going to try the esky ones.

You know I was considering the EXTREME turnbuckles but not anymore. Im flying MX400 blades now problem gone tracks like a dream Makes me wonder about flying all those Esky blades? I am gonna do the ball link conversion on the upper pitch links as well as the swash links for minor adjustments. After flying well lets keep it nameless heli that has the upper pitch links I realized this is the kings flaw which can easily be fixed by the much needed ball link conversion or the turnbuckles.

Ya know Tryan, you could be on to something. I had tracking issues like crazy. Then I got the Xtreme links which didn't solve them. I went the metal head which appeared to solve them for a while but it came back. I've recently switched to the Align wood blades cut down, and have zero tracking issues.

I remember last winter the set I had was warped an 1/8" on the ends. The light ply they used may not of been dried well enough too much moisture warping them and really twisting them at 2500+rpm.

Thinking the scale build will get align 315 (CF like blades)

I am very impressed with the Align woodies. They are a little heavier so the motor is working a little harder. But its well work it. They are smooth and make the heli more stable and more responsive at the same time. Interesting. I guess that's kind of what you get with a larger heli. Maybe I should look into this 450 thing

yep If you couple that with a more powerful motor you got yourself a 450.

450 means 325 Align Pros right off the shelf.
These things are so good, you don't even have to balance them!
Maybe even a set of 335's!

Helicopters don't fly, they beat the air into submission.

why not 315mm? Im gonna try to get them on my king but hit a snag for the extended tailboom. But no turnbuckles just ball links.

Ever notice that the Align woodies don't simply splinter and break in a crash? They explode. If you're gonna lose your blades, it may as well be spectacular.

And I really like that they're painted rather than monokoted. Innocuous little blade scrapes can be ignored, whereas with wrapped blades, you need to hit 'em with packing tape and a coat of CA. And re-CG and re-balance...

Pumping your fist and yelling, "COME ON!!!" does not increase battery charge rate.

I've had some good luck with Venom 3DXL blades on my King. About the only thing quality about Walkera.
