| Here's pics of the Synergy on my Spectra. I had the pleasure of having my clearcoat eat the paint on the Spectra canopy I painted, and I don't have time to prep and repaint the canopy if I'm going to fly this weekend. I had this Canomod Synergy canopy sitting on the shelf. Surprisingly, it fits very well, actually, it fits better than the stock canopy. All I needed to trim was the bottom to clear the baseplate and switch, and drill 2 new holes for the front mounts. For those front mounts, I put a set of 42mm long canopy mounts in the front holes that they say to use if you have a front mounted engine, marked and drilled the holes in the canopy and it matches up perfect. The front mounts that I used came from my Predator spares.
I'm not sure if the Synergy has the option to move the mounts around like the Spectra does, but it would have worked fine with the standard mount position, I just had better access to the screws on the backside of the front. If I used the standard mount position, the mounts would have needed to be about 2mm longer since the canopy flares out. It should be the same on a Stratus, they use the same canopy.
I need to clean up the cuts on the bottom, but I think it looks good. I'd actually just keep it on there, but the reason that canopy was sitting on the shelf is that I have a hard time seeing it in certain skies. It turns into a grey blob at distance on a blue sky. Surprisingly, it's fine in a grey sky.
