| 1. heli needs to be level, really the mast needs to be true vertical 2. Flybar needs to be locked 90deg to the mast, usally done with a flybar lock 3. put gauge on a blade 4. zero out all trims, atv and center sticks on radio 5. adjust link from swash to main blade grip to get zero pitch 6. do that to the other blade. 7. take stick to full up and take a reading, then to full down and read 8. reading should be the same but - for down and + for up, or say +10 and -10. 9. both blades should have the same readings.
This is over simplified the rest will have to do with your heli and how well the set up to this point, has been done. Lots of errors in the set up will effect the pitch readings. On most or at least my Hawk Sport at center stick th swash should be level, washout arms level, bell mixers level and the swash should be in the middle of its availiable throw. Hope this helped but it is a bit over simplified.
