| I was playing with my DX7 to find out a easy way to control the head speed with integrated RevLimit without flip the gear switch during flight. Headspeed control: Normal-disable; idel up 1 & 2-enable.
1. Follow the calibration procedure in the instruction.
2. Disable the gear switch system menu, so the gear switch will not override the prog-mix.
3. Enable Mix2 as shown.
4. Enable Mix3 as shown.
Make sure the flight mode switch change gear channel's ATV value in the servo monitor. RPM adjustment is done by using Mix2 RATE parameter in idel up 1, and use Mix3's OFFSET in idel up 2. Because Mix2 value will override the offset number in Mix 3, pls setup the head speed in idel up 1 first.
Use these numbers for "reference" and double check the operation of the RevLimit. Any comment is welcome.
