Hi guys

Have any of you guys seen this?

I took the motor out, to install the Synergy SE centre engine mount. The red anodizing rubbed off like it had been attacked with paint stripper....

The remaining red looks like it is stuck down well.

I motor runs like a champion and i don't realy care as it is hidden inside the cooling duct on my Synergy.

Hell Paulie - looks weird. Is that only on the one side of the head or is it happening on the other side as well?

I've looked at mine and it still looks like new....

Is it not the desert that is doing that to your engine..??..

Mine's doing that as well, it's my glow-ignitor wire rubbing back and forth. Could it be the same for yours?

Looks like the cooling shroud is rubbing, I've had many different engines that have looked like that from many different models.

The continued use of nitro will fade this color as well as deteriorate it as well. Some will turn pink.. It looks as though the anodized area may not have taken as well as others. It looks porous! It also looks as though it could have rubbed off.

Hi guys

It is on all sides. The fan duct does not touch the head. It is even in the front and read of the head, so nothing was touching it there.

I had thought it was 'sand blasted' from our dusty environment here in the desert....but it is also on the rear of the head.

it doesen't really matter, just looks strange.

Mines kinda getting lighter in color also but I dont care cause it makes good power. At least until I run out of 30%.
