I'm looking to buy a new case for my 10C. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations. If would be great if it had room to carry the 2.4Ghz module and a 72Mhz module as well.

Thanks in advance

Most any case that the transmitter will fit in will work. You can even go to Wal-Mart or a sporting goods shop and buy a pistol case or to Harbor Freight and buy a foam lined case that will work. It will probably be less expensive too.

You'll just have to cut the foam in the case to suit the transmitter. There shoud be more than enough room to carry the transmitter and both modules. The foam will cut easily with an electric carving knife or a hot knife.

My Futaba case cost me $90 + dollars. I had my 9C in it , now my 10C . Pretty high money for that case ..... it does look good !

I bought a Pelican 1500 case for my 12FGH. It is a thing of beauty, and pretty much indestructible.

My 10C in the Pelican 1450.....

Plenty of room for a few more items.

Ordered from Cases 4 Less off the internet.

With the pelican case the foam is already segmented into squares. You need only pull out the parts you don't want.

When I did my case I was careful removing the lower portion of the foam, where the battery resides in the radio. I wanted to reuse this piece of foam to create a step in the bottom of the case to better hold the radio with the 2.4 module installed. I got the foam out in one piece and cut it to the right height using my band saw with a coarse blade installed. Cut like butter!

Here is a few pics....

FYI: The second pic has some red lines drawn on it to detail the step.

Nice case

Well, for me i used to carry the Futaba 14mz alluminum case around everywhere i go to fly but it was too heavy, so i found on ebay a very nice futaba case, it is soft and i can use to carry also my tools, lipo batteries and other stuffs along with the radio. take a look at it, believe me, it is worth it and it was not that expensive, just 43$ dollar excluding the shipping.

I think I prefer the Futaba soft case. Carrying the whole big case for the TX on top of other stuffs going to the field is not really my thing.
