I picked up a few gallons of CP25% for my heli. My LHS is out of 30% and wont have it till september! Shortage issues

CP25 is formulated for airplane engines and the main difference is its got about 5% less lube than CP30. Will this damage my engine or should I got with the CP15 heli blend?

You got the green stuff, 25% nitro, 17%oil? If you are referring to that mix, it will work fine, but expect your needle setting to change and power to drop. The standard 15% heli mix with high viscosity uses the same oil and % as the 25%.

Yep thats the stuff. Ok good. Well I expected my needle settings to change due to the lower percentage nitro content but I got no choice. It's near impossible to get CP 30% anymore

TBH, the red 20/20 mix works better for me than the 25% despite the lower nitro, so try that if its available. The engine pulls about the same, but recovers much faster between each load-up from manuveur to manuveur with the 20/20 compared to the 25%.
