I don't have any video handy I'm afraid, but I've got to say that video in general does not do nav lights or especially strobes justice. The frame rate is just not enough to capture it well.

I checked youtube, and found a few. I counted 4 flashes for strobe light.

Lighting

Any specific heli?

My research seems to suggest that they vary slightly from heli to heli, some have strobes others appear to have rotating becons etc.

Iy also might pay you to check out "Tomapowa" here on RR. Tom is doing a lot of work on lighting systems for helis and may just have that one peice of information you seek.

it would depend on the type of helicopter, military or civilian the operator's needs that are required for the work the helicopter needs to doing and on top of all that it is my understanding that each strobe and or anti-col light kit can be programed up to 3 different ways depending on the engineers.

The heli I have is Twin Star.
But I just wanted a general idea of strobe lights frequency.
They wary for sure. Any actual info of any helicopter will be a big help.

aerton, I have quite a lot of take off and landings as One of the owners of a large Company uses one as a taxi, one of these clips is a night landing, not very good but should show what you are looking for,
It may take a while to find them and to put some on U-Tube but I will do my best
