Scale Model RC Helicopters > Scale project help needed

I have been thinking about doing my first scale project and had some questions. I have a Raptor 30 v2 that has been sitting around not getting much flying time and was wondering if it was possible to put these mechanics and engine in a Thunder Tiger scale MD530 civilian or EC-135 body? I know the bodies are made for the R50 mechanics, but the (frame and head) should be the same. My thought was I would need to add the 50 size boom and belt for the right tail length. Does that screw up the gear ratio to the tail by just adding the longer boom and belt? The other question is will the TT 39 engine make enough power for scale flying with the weight of the body? Has anyone done this before? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

SCALE

IF YOU BUILD IT IT WILL FLY! SOUNDS like your on the right track to me. No gear change to longer boom. Gear change for 50 Engine. Fuse will add about 1# to overall weight. It'll fly fine with 39 motor. Most 30s & 50s are same mainframes. Boom ,Blades, gear ratio, only major differances. Comon to have lower head speed in scale wrapper also. If you do a hughes 500 you could cut a little off the tail boom and use the 30 legnth boom & belt. RAGGED
