Will this charger be ok for the flightpower 6S batteries for the Trex for any other 6S machine?

I use this charger for my 6S packs and it works fine all the way up to (1.5C), it doesn't have the power to charge @ (2C) if you should so desire. The built in balance feature is nice and works great. The other thing that I don't care for is the operating temperature of the charger. During even a normal charge cycle (1C / 2.6amps) the charger itself will get very hot sitting there on the bench. Just an FYI.

Thanks, the reason I thought about buying it is to eliminate having 2 chargers, I have a TP1010 but it doesnt charge ncad and nimh and my triton wont charge 6S batteries.

Vigor10.

Just buy the data cable and do a firmware upgrade for your 1010C. Its like 30 bucks or something. You will have PB,LIPO,A123,NICAD, NIMH. Plus can still charge to 10S lipo if you want.
