Wow...that Spitfire really moves! What's your setup? Also, isn't the Spitfire a foamy? I still haven't bought my first airplane. I may have to consider the Spitfire. That looks like loads of fun! I just want a cheap and durable airplane to start with.

This is the launch ! This is actually a pretty tame set-up compared to it's max of 83 MPH with a very high KV motor from bp hobbies and a APC speedprop I had in it last summer. I just threw in a cheapo Fleabay outrunner and a 12 amp ESC I had-- top speed about 50 mph now and using 1350 mah Li-po's and a 9 x 6 slowflyer prop. The key to these cheapo GWS warbirds is Mono-coating the exterior for strength otherwise it'll just fall apart when gravity wins

Hey 50Mph still isn't bad for a little foamy I figure my Husky tops out at around 40mph which I'm happy with for a flatbottom airfoil on a bushplane Here's yesterday's fun before it got shot down on the next pack by a RTF plane TX in the nearby neighborhood It's fixed now though and I'm getting ready to go do a test flight to make sure everything is ok. If I ever lose this bird to mother earth the electronics will go into a little Extra 330 I have my eye on

I thought grabbing the rex tail was dangerous seems those powered gliders are way more dangerous.
