| Set your pitch curve linear, -10,0 mid stick,+10 It should be a straight line on your transmitter.. Now if your new to flying, after you get this setup, you can take some of the negative out, in your pitch curves,, so you don't slam it down on the ground,
As for the throttle curves,, you really need a tach, to get things right, but I'll give you the ones I have set up for one of mine,,,, Just remember these are just a starting point!!!!
L=0 1=8 2=16 3=23.5 4=43.0 Hover point for my setup, is between 3, and 4 closer to 4 5=58.0 H=100
Head Speed for the stock gas is,,, Gear Ratio is 6.43:1,,,Target engine rpm from 11,500 to 12,500, Could be more depending on engine,,, Now this is for optiman output,,, I not saying you have to be in this range, Just where the engine will be putting out it's most H.P. and torque..... 6.43 x 1750 head speed = 11,252.5 6.43 x 1800 HS = 11,574 6.43 x 1850 HS = 11,895.5 6.43 x 1900 HS = 12,217 6.43 x 1950 HS = 12,538.5 I would not go much over this if your are in the beginner stage!!!
Now as far as the throttle servo goes, it's nice to have one that is the same speed as the collective, but if your just starting out, it won't matter much,, The faster servo is only if your doing aerobatics, or 3D with the machine, and a governor of some kind,,
But you do want to have it setup right,, linear,,, meaning at half stick your carb is half open, servo is centered, and they are both 90 degrees to each other,, Hope this helps you out,, XGM/VGM
I would set it up for normal some where around 1600 to 1650 HS,, Then go from there,, You might need to raise it to fit your flying style,
