I posted this on the "general forum" and didn't really get an answer. I'm hoping someone has seen one of these before. I'm about to start a BL/separates build with it and am wondering how you might mount the servos. It looks like I'll have to cut the bottom tabs on the servos to get them to mount. Wondered if anyone had any pics of a completed build on something like this?

Any advice appreciated.

I don't recall ever seeing this one before myself but it looks like it could be an aftermarket upgrade frame for the Ikarus Piccolo helis

I'm wondering as well

It came with a Blade CP main shaft and gear on it. There was an extra bearing on the bottom, to act as a spacer, because the bottom bearing is not flush with the bottom of the frame. I'm hoping that 1/8" or so of travel restriction won't pose too much of a problem for the swash.

I think you may be right about it being an upgrade a different model of heli. It is very simple, and quite light and overall, I like the way it's made. I do like it much better than any other aluminum frame that I've seen for the Blade CP, which generally are overly complex and seem to weigh significantly more.

Anyway, anyone else with any speculation on what other heli this might have come from?

Many thanks.

I had one of these

This frame is sold by HeliHobby for the fixed pitch heli's like Dragonfly, Honey Bee FP, Hummingbird, It was not designed for 3 servo CP but with mods I guess it should work.
