Yeah, looks pretty cluttered to me.

Now back to serious. My friend's 12x already has a tracking number so I should have his in my hands by next week. I'll see how it feels then

If the "feel" of the TX is a big thing for you, it will be no contest.

Depends. I love the 14mz features but it really gets in my guts that a $2000 radio is chiping paint off and that a plastic replacement case costs 700-900 bucks not to mention some JR features attract me

hey Tony once you go flybarless you wont need 95% of all those features anyway. just a basic radio setup is all you need......

i for one have owned a 14mz before and i do like the 12x just for the fact you can get your fingers between the switches also. throttle cut is no problem just slide the throttle trim down and its off.

I've got

Futaba: 14MZ with FASST, 12Z with FASST, 9C

JR: 10X, 12X, 9303, X9303

Spektrum: DX7

Futaba radios are collecting dust.

My current favorite radio is X9303. Soon, I will transfer all my programs to the 12X.

Buying a $300 RX from Futaba is a rip off! Thank you to Spektrum and JR for making the products interchangeable at a reasonable price! They have changed this industry while Futaba got caught sleeping.

Just my opinion .

Tony, that is a hell of a collection. Maybe I should donate my 10sxII and 8103 to help make it complete!

Are you refering to the accel function? If yes, its pretty cool but one needs to gets used to it because the "direct" connection feel will be gone whenever you hit top or bottom stick. The closest feeling I can describe is like the rotor head is secured by rubber bands. Around 90% of the pitch throw everything is normal but once you hit the corner, its like releasing the rubber. Some like it, others don't.

Swiching from Futaba to the DX7

I to got caght up in the hype. I been flying my Helis on a Futaba 7c for about 3 years now. and after a while I noticed that most of the guys I fly with had switch to the DX7. I have alway flown Futaba all the way back in my plank days. And alway cursed the JR products. I heard that Spectrum was a JR off shoot and really didn't want any thing to do with it. I waited a long time for Futaba to come out with there fasst version on the 7c, and waited, and waited. They keep pushing the date back. So I found a DX7 on ebay from a local seller. and got a good price for it. I installed in my Trex 450 and right out the box it had a hole differant fell to it. i liked the fell of the throtle smoothness. and how the heli handling seamed to be crisper and smooth. I have sence coverted some of my other helis to the DX7 and also liked the way it felt on them. I still going to keep my futabas but most likely for planks only with the fasst module installed. I have a 9c and 7uap on them. Think im going to sell off my 7Cs due to the fact they can't be converted.

12X in next to my two 9C and my DX7.

FUTABA is not going to fly any of my helis EVER again.
FUTABA will stay with my planes though !
