I got the 12X and it made me a much better pilot.

I am with the advice given above. If you want it just get it. We can all get by with something smaller and simpler like a DX7. But you will always be eyeballing the 12X.

A large part of this hobby is not buying something because you need it. We buy stuff because we want it. So if you want it, and you can swing the price, you have no reason not to.

I experienced the same phenominum myself,as soon as i started to wear a widerim hat like Curtis my flying improved greatly.

Yes! Yes! Thats it... As soon as I put on the JR neck strap, I could hover inverted. When as I put on the t-shirt, piroflips. I cant wait to get the socks...

Well, how can I describe it. ummm Awesome! I already love it

It is one awesome "feeling" radio...looks great, awesome weight, excellent switch placement, Love the swivel antenna.

I do have to say the stick threads are a tad on the short side...my only one complaint so far. I will have to get the longer sticks for it.

Finally, I have a radio with a backlite screen...I can sleep well tonight
