I think he might be clearing them out ready for the new engines but either way if you want one they are the best price I’ve ever seen them at, plus he has the 26 and the marine version if you look.

Cheap engines

Hi,i would have posted the source ,but i did not know whether it was allowed. Some sites can be funny i have found.I have never seen these engines cheaper than this. They are exactly as described and delivery is excellent(at least in UK).

Nice !! Would be cool the have the Millenium with the 20cc engine. I am converting one Millenium to use a MW44 turbine, but have another Millenium left. Maybe next project then Mille III ZG20

G260 fitted.

Just upgraded my old Kalt gasser with G260 Puh.Less vibration than the old KG22.Fitted one of my GV1 governors and have set so engine will run at max torque speed for now. What a power difference.I have an extra long flybar with weights on this old gasser and it is the most stable heli i have ever flown, set up till i got used to the extra size and weight.Have virtually zero tail buzz and solid tail. How long do you guys usually run these engines in for.So far i have run it on the ground for 20 mins(blades on)Varied the hover for two tanks and some sedate circuits.Tank of fuel lasts forever so exhausted now.

Quick work Shawmcky

If your using synthetic oil I like to run it in for 2 gall, might sound allot but it will pay off in the long run,
Short steady flights like half a tank then let it cool down before the next flight.

Youve done well to have no vibes with the 26 is it belt drive on the main shaft by any chance.

Kalt Gasser

I will follow your run in recommendations,i am using Silkolene pre -mix(synthetic).The heli actually uses a piano wire drive to the rear although i do have a brand new belt drive conversion that i have not used as yet.The fan mounting on these old Kalts is a good simple system and run -out is negligable. When i say virtually no vibes i mean in the gasser context,as i know that complete vibe free operation is near impossible although i have heard that Hanson do quite a good job with their heli engine.Keep up your conversion work, all helps to keep this hobby interesting.

Century v3

Does anyone know what sort of power increase a V3 pipe will give on a Zenoah G260PUH.

Significant

If you're comparing the V3 to the stock box muffler, quite a difference. Most evident to me when I was flying an autonomous heli with alot of weight. With the loud stock box muffler, the engine could only muster x amount of collective before starting to bog during a climbout. With the v3 muffler, it handled more collective and the climb rate practically doubled before the hint of bog. Now mind you this is a heavy heli with a G231 so the climb rate was slow, and when I say doubled, its doubled from a slow rate, not a ballistic one to begin with. I would estimate say from 5 ft/sec to 10ft/sec. My gasser with a G26 motor with no payload climbs in the range of 30 to 40 ft/sec.
