e-Electric Batteries & Chargers > Storing A123s... State of Charge

I recently bought a few VPX packs and noticed something in the instruction sheet for them that I don't remember hearing one way or another for A123 cells. If you don't know, the cells in the VPX packs are the smaller 1100 mAh version of the 2300 mAh A123 cells you see discussed here quite often.

Well, the instruction sheet says the packs should always be fully charged immediately after use and stored that way as well. As you may know, LiPo cells are better stored at something like 50% state of charge. But it would appear that LiFe cells (A123) like being fully charged better.

Does anyone have further info on this subject for LiFe cells?

Thanks,
John
