Hello guys I have the 620 with the 600 motor on 6S anyone has the amp draw on this combo. An approximate value is what I am looking for... I just want to know I will not ask too much from my new lipos...
Thanks!!

I could give you numbers on my setup but there are way too many variables to consider. Pinion size, blade length, pitch values, and not to mention flying style should all be taken into consideration. What will you be running?

The T600 guys run a setup something like that but the T600 is lighter than a Swift 620. With 5000MAH 6s LiPo and 2300 headspeed they get about 4.5 to 5 minutes of flight time flying 3D. They get current peaks over 100 amps.

If you fly easier (less pitch) or use shorter blades (550) the flight time will go up and the peak current will go down.

If you are doing 3D I would say that you want a 5000-6000 MAH battery with a 25C rating or higher.

Also what KV motor? Is it the 1100kv? Swift-tuning.com has a review
on that motor on 6S with a 515 and 550 blades. Avg 36 amps with peaks
in the 72amp range..

Hi guys, the motor is the 600 1100Kv and a 9 tooth pinion (if I am not mistaken, I need to check on this...) the Swift is running 600mm RotorTech mains... Could it be that I am using 50-60A and Peak at the 90A mark? The thing is I got some 6S 25C 3700 Flight Powers and would like to know if they could handle the task...

Thanks for the replies!!

My stock 6S Swift 620 with a painted canopy and top shelf(heavy) equipment weighs 6lbs 14oz. Not the lightest Swift but I've never seen a comparably equipped T-REX 600E in stock form under 7 lbs.

With 600mm blades, I don't think they will be up to the task. Flight times will be short and your packs will be short lived. You MIGHT be able to get away with it running 550mm blades but even then flight times will still be short. If you plan on running 6S on the 620, a quality 6S 5000 mAh 25C pack with 550/560mm blades is the way to go. If you want to turn 600mm blades you really need to run a HV 8S/10S setup.

Thanks Al! Well I have 3 packs of the 3700 so I guess I must use them, then the way to go would be changing my mains to 550's... I don't fly anywhere hard 3D I would say its more a leisure flight, forward flight, loops, rolls, inverted nothing hard...

Thanks agian!
