| It works with the silver frames. Buy 1 or 2 packs of ritz clothes dye at your local Supermarket. Cost about $2 ea. The colors are for cloths but will dye anything that will take the dye. I tried 3 different plastics and fiber glass and got different colors each time. The color I used is Sunshine yellow .....turned out gold. So do some test pieces first ,like fins, to make sure you like the color. Find a pan large enough to fit the frames and will be covered completely. I used a drip tray for a broiler pan. Bring water to just under boiling...you can see the water moving but not making bubbles. Pour in the dye and mix well. Put the parts in and turn them about once a every minute or so for 5 to 10 min till they take the color you want. I got the water too hot and the center where the burner was is darker then the outer edges. I had an old Align CF blade and dyed it too came out yellow. I left the tracking tape on it so when I pulled the tape off, under the tape was still white. So you can come up with stripes ,flames or lettering if you get cerative. Make sure you blow out the water out of your bearings with LPS or WD40. Have fun with this and show us what you come up with.........now get to it.
