I believe that is a known problem with the AP2000i - try contacting the manufacture. I have read about this before.

...yep...

Good one! There are hundreds. Go with the a$$man. I would like everyone from now on to follow his remarkable instructions. If you get confused and burn up your engine he might buy you a new one to keep you quiet.

Then give up on the APi and get an HC unit and be done with it.

If they do it like WE ( Billme, Raja, and myself ) say,, then there will be no ruined engines,, But you have to be able to follow instructions and be able to LISTEN to your engine!!!! And that leaves you out Ace.....

Then give up

That's the best post here,,, XGM/VGM

I feel there are advantages to IR control and no one has conclusively proved that the HC works well on a gasser. Then there is the cost differential.

I don't give up easily anyway and I would like to hear from others about this problem. Maybe it is the location that I have chosen to mount the APi. So if others have had the problem where did you locate the unit?

It won't matter where you mount it,,if your engine is not tuned, and shakeing it to death!!!!
