Hi guys,

Can someone tell me if the washout arms of the Raptor 90 3D differ in length or shape to the ones of the Raptor 90STD or SE?
Just mentioned that the part number is different.

Best regards,
Gio.

they are the same arms but in the washout kit for the 903d it comes with a pin and e clip where the SE just has a pressed in pin.

Thats interesting AMainMaker.

On the washout on my 90 3D one of the pins, clips the ball when the arms are level and the other one is very close. I have resorted to adding a extra washer so the one that clips clears.

Thunder Tiger have added these new pins and clips to the existing arms without redesigning the mixer arms.

I am running mine with the clips to the outer edge away from the balls and have at least a mm or two or clearance.

If you want the best washout assembly for R90, you might consider to get the QUK one. Pins are secured with a grub screw into the arms, very good and safe method IMO
Take a look at my gallery to view this.

The 90 3D uses one clip per pin since the other end has a flat head on it. (Maybe you have the wrong pins and have clips at both ends?) I suggest you remove the pins and insert them in the other direction. If the pin is correct and you have end chuck with the flat head end hitting then the washout arm has something wrong or the pin is too long. The thin flat end of the pin will be at the end you are concerned with clearance.
