I've been using the OS91 for a few months now, and I'm very happy with the performance, however, the engine leans a little at the end of the tank.

I'm wondering if moving the exhaust pressure nipple closer to the engine would have any effect? It's towards the end of a very long muffler now.

How about a fuel pump??? I heard that someone was doing it with this engine...

OS-91 Pumper

Mike,

Jason Chan posted his recent trip to the Tokyo Hobby Fair

head option, the other is the new pumper motor.

uniflow

The OS61 in my Futura did this before I went to uniflow plumbing. Same with the OS32 in my Concept.

The Perry pump idea is interesting. It would be really cool to get the power of an OS with the consistency of a YS. Tempting!

A friend of mine added a Perry pump to his XL/Webra 61. The
pump really helped things but a season later the Webra failed (non-pump related).

Lean OS91

You did not say if you were using a header tank or not, if you are what size fuel line are you running? I had the same trouble with my 61 till I put the large size fuel lines and med. size clunk lines. Just taking a guess!

The problem of adding a pump is the the carb is not designed for high pressure so when you adjust for high end the middle gets screwed up and vice-versa.
