Wal Mart clear plastic shoe box containers, cost .97 each with cover, I use a large 2x4" avery label and write whats in the box and put in on the shelf or in the cabinet

I've found:
* Various fishing boxes
* Nut & bolt holders from a home improvement store
* Futaba servo boxes (probably similar to the Hitec ones)
* 35mm film containers (becoming less common)
* Various other plastic containers from a home improvement store.

for temporary stuff (ie. build or repair), bluster-pack formed plastic is great.
