| YS 91SR with SB-19, 8717's, Solid-G and Spektrum AR7100R (with regulator and limiter). Right now the engine is running rich, it's just a couple clicks leaner than the break-in needle settings. A couple more flights and I should get it where I want it. Today I was flying Radix 710's (non-SB's). Tomorrow I am going to try the new SAB's which are about 25g lighter each blade. As I mentioned in the first post, the limiter on the AR7100R does not seem to be working so I was using a very basic curve (90 - 65 - 90) which seemed to work pretty well. I've got to say, the machine is flying very well - it feels a lot lighter in the air than the N9. Almost feels as light as a 600N in the air with the power of a 90. Unfortunately, I think the one-way in the clutch is going out already - it seems to slip about half the time when starting the engine and if I turn the start shaft in the other direction it squeaks. That's a minor issue though - all in all I'm very pleased with the way the first flights went today. |
