It's my real name.

Nah. Back in the day (92 - 98), There was a Handi-House that used to be my band's practice place outside my parents' house. It morphed into a hangout, complete with A/C, cable, and internet. Imagine "the circle" on "That '70's Show" taking place in a storage shack on a nightly basis...

The Shack. That's what we called it at first, and that kind of morphed int "The Shizack". Lots of good times there, many of which I cannot remember. I've used "shizack" as an online handle since way back then.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you...

I have gone through several user names over the many years of the ol' interweb but at some point they always were used. So I set out to make one that was mine alone. Since I made the name during a time when I was heavily into my Jeep, I wanted something like JeepinGuy but that one is heavily used. So since my Jeep is a TJ letter classification, I made it TJinGuy. If you say it just right it sounds Chinese, t-jin-guy but I was after tj-ing-guy.

Anyhow only interesting to the Jeepers out there I am sure.

suck, squeeze, bang, and blow

turbine engines create thrust, i'm a mechanic, so thrustrmech

i suck at this, but having the time of my life with it!

My real name is Greg. My birth certificate says "Gregory". A name which is only used by my mom and government employees.

I completely missed the gamer tag thing always felt a little guilty for not being more creative. However, most of the names I saw others using were very much tied to the activity it was assoicated with and perhaps an interest that would not last more than couple years. It just seemed to me the name should outlive the current activity. My lifespan on most forums is about 2 years. Not sure why it just happens. Everyone leaves, the site gets a new admin nothing is the same, I pick up a new hobby, etc. It's kind of sad to think about but look at this group. Not many have been here more than 6 months. Some quite a bit longer. Just saying, its a rare and very cool thing that's going on in our little corner of RR. Enjoy it while it lasts and every day do something to make it last longer.

The first forum I joined, my user name was "Greg". I guess I got in early, because I've never been able to get that again. I actually only registered to do some searching and didn't think I'd staying. I was wrong. Next forum I registered with, Greg was taken, so I fell back to a shortened version of my full name Gregor. Years ago I had a mentor named Gregor. Great guy, learned a lot. I liked the man and his name, so I stole it. I have friend that occasionaly calls me Gregor. But its more a Greg....orrrr. Not sure why. Anyway it seemed easy. The 99 came from nessessity. I'm Gregor on many forums, but if that's taken I'll add the 99. Its easy to remember.

Very cool thread

I have serviced pools for over 30 years always whipping a blue telescopic pole around to brush and skim.

SOOOO I thought of it as my blue sword and morphed it to Blusaber ( a super hero )

I wonder what they thought when they read my corporation papers

I always thought Tjinguy stood for Teaching guy since Chris worked at a college see how wrong I was, must have lost some of my super powers

Gary, Always wondered about that one. The story makes it even more cool.

Mike, I had to look that one up. I see what you mean.

There are places I remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

In my life I love you more

Chris, thanks for the explanation. I've been trying to figure that one out. First time I saw it read it as T-JIN-GUY as in some kind of Jin Rummy thing. Or perhaps a mispelling of GIN. See how far off I was? Glad to be put straight as none of my ponderings made any sense to me.

Mine isn't hard to figure out if your into mythology at all.
The griffin[1] is a legendary creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle.
Seems kinda fitting for a helicopter board. I was really suprised it wasn't already taken.
