I started with a Raptor 50 then moved on to fly only a Vibe 90 this year and love it. It flies bigger moves, faster, and love the stability. Now, I keep thinking I want a gaser with 810 blades. I'm thinking it will do even bigger smooth moves way up high in the sky and maybe, even be faster? Maybe?

I think I'm looking for lots of stability. How do you buy a gasser and decide which size blades to run. I notice the spectra G manuel suggests 700 to 710 size blades. Which models or setups run the 800mm blades?

You can get longer booms for the Spectra to run the longer blades, if you call MA, they can set you up. If you want one that'll run the long blades out of the box, the Century Predator Condor runs them, although the helis are hard to get ahold of. Bergen has one as well, and there is a HUGE Vario called the XLV.

To decide what you want to run, what do you want to do with the heli? If you are just flying it around, just get a regular heli and run 710s or so. A gasser is hugely stable if set up to be stable, and 710s are awful big and expensive as is. The 800+ blades are a huge jump in price, and unless you're doing AP, or some other sort of lifting, I don't see a whole lot of reason to have the larger helis. A regular gasser is pretty huge as is.

Or you can just by a Bergen Intrepid EB. Runs 810s and is very stable. Run a Hanson 3D Max engine and have plenty of power. It can be real fast if you want to fly it that way.
