| Hi,
I have got a T-Rex450S with all stock motor esc, and batteries from align.
It was my 20th flight yesterday but something really strange happened.
First flight, about 3 minutes, I noticed the rpm's going down so I landed and took the canopy off and MAN!.. The battery was about to explode or something. It has got so hot and even a small whole is seen on top of the first cell.
The batteries are:
Align 22C, 11.1 volts, 2100 mhz
Imac 20C, 11.1 volts, 2100 mhz
Both the battreis got very hot and I'm not sure if they can be used anymore.
Can anyone tell me what is going on. I have been flying with these batteries and never had any trouble.
I always charge with balance charger. But I don't think its the charging problem.
I'm really confused what to do. The only difference is what i see is the temperature.
My last flight was in March with cool temperatures, but yesterday was hot about 100F.
Could heat be the problem. ?
