just finished building my swift 620 and it has a very arse in the air attitude. When the skids are level on the ground the tail rises to the rear and the whole frame / shaft / rotorhead are tilted forward by some degrees.

is this by design

thanks

Yes, that is too keep the Tail rotor clear of the ground.

Thanks for that

I'm no newbie and have had a lot of helis including swift 16s which i love and still have, but none of them ever had this attitude, ie they were all level through.

I'm well pleased with this heli at the moment, no build problems other than working out a few screw lengths etc. will fly it on sunday and all being well it will go into the century 222 50 fuse in green that i have waiting for the airframe

its on 8s
600 motor 715kv
10T pinion
rotortech 620mm main
rotortech 85mm carbon tail

no probs - been doing a video too.

on tightening up today i have discovered i have the notchiest bearings in my blade holders that i have ever seen. you cannot even begin to tighten without the bearing turning into a ratchet its unreal - this sort of thing really pisses me off. i just spoke to centuryuk to let them know and they are sending me out new ones, just hope they are not the same.(it has to be said you cant blame a company like century for such a small problem - how would you quality control hundreds of thousands of bits of hardware - you can't) I have to say i have always dealt with centuryuk direct and they are usually very very good at sorting out any probs i've had quickly so hopefully all will be well next week.
