| I have never had a one way bearing failure without taking the blades off the heli in a crash first. Some times about a week or two after a crash it completely cracks and starts to slip. Without a crash they seem to work without any problems.
I do a lot of autos which applies full power climbouts to no power when in an autorotation. One tank of fuel is usually 75 plus autos. It seems like this would place an additional stress on the one way bearing. I use grease on the outer part of the bearing next to the case and a very small amount of light oil inside the bearing. Works for me.
