Ok,

who is on the late shift this friday night?

JW, you out there? I dont know about you, but I have now had my 12th day in town. wow, I dont know what to do with myself. Regular 8 hour days during the week and WEEKENDS off.

Lets just say that its a good thing I have four bats, because I am using the **** out of them.

Anyone else out there? I wont keep talking to myself like TJ. The voices inside my head dont talk back, yet.

I'm here. Pretty quiet tonight. I've been reading through the Cellpro 10s and Hyperion manuals. Still haven't figured out how the 10s would accomidate the Outrage 6s packs.

The best would be to give them a call. They have excellent customer service, which could probably explain everything to you.

TripleB.

Time for me to get a little sleep before my girls wake me up for breakfast in the morning.

As usual, everybody passes out when I get home and on the computer. Oh well. At least some good news was waiting on me in my "Broke with a cooked gyro" thread .

Still awake, trying to sort out the 6s node config on the Outrage pack. Sure wish the Cellpro was a 12s then I could charge 2 packs at once. The Hyperion does it but its more expensive and doesn't have the auto mode or the internal resistance report.

I use the Hobbico Quick Field Charger MkII. it'll do 2 batteries at a time, but max charge rate for Li-based batteries is 1 amp . Takes about 2:40 to charge my TP Extreme V2 2200 25c. Great for charging tx batteries or my cordless drill''s NiCd pack, too.

One day I'll have a Cellpro or Hyperion for faster charging.

Maybe one that pays with helis and parts. Save the mail carriers some trouble.

What's up? Never got around to flying. Wind would come and go. But never stopped long enough to get flight in.

Spent some time on the sim, really getting tired of the garage. Tried out the Trex and the Mini. Both nice, but different. Mini seems more stable and easy to fly well. Trex seems general quicker, harder to fly smoothly. Coming back to the HBK2 (this is Phoenix) using my variant, felt more comfortable, more responsive. Even ran the Knight 50 (gasser). Stable yes. But the larger heli I try the further it is from the snappy HBK2 I'm most familiar with.

Like off a roof, or do you have a buddy tow it up? Love to see a glider towed up by a heli...
