I am buying one of these for my wife's Evo 50. I am not a big fan of the RevMax, but the whole thing as a package combo is to good to pass up. I would love to see one of these in a 9ch.

I need to read the instructions, but I also am interested in trying one. I will check it out tomorrow at the LHS where I work. The one thing I want to find out is the lead that comes off of the receiver has a blue connector on it. With this arrangemnet I want to find out how you use a switch on it. Chuck

With this arrangemnet I want to find out how you use a switch on it.

Like the 9100, the 7100 has an integrated failsafe switch and a port (opposite the bind port) for a mechanical switch (not your standard switch harness although that can be made to work).

If the switch fails or is disconnected the Rx stays on.

The Rx powers off when a cct is made between [sig/orange] and [-ve/black] on this port - plugging a binding plug into this port will also power off the Rx.

The [+ve/red] and [-ve/black] pins in the switch port can be used to charge the Rx battery pack (at reasonable currents). A male/male servo extension plugged into this port can therefore be used as both a charge lead and to turn the Rx off with a binding plug if you don't want to use a switch.

The 9100/7100 powersafe Rx's are pretty slick.

They are definately slick. I am really glad to finally get rid of some regulators!!

The best part is all of the parts I took off those birds Does anyone know if I can just use my Multigov sensor with the built in limiter or do I need to install the sensor on the backplate? I plugged it into the sensor slot of the 7100 and it lights the sensor when it passes the magnet.

I like it. I like it a lot......

All that is left is to add in a carbsmart type of control, and there is you all-in-one package...........

There is still a problem for those guys using only 6.0volts on servos.
This combo requires a regulator for them if you use a 2s lipo.
This combo is excellent if you have 8 volt servos in cyclic.

Looks like he is running 8717's and they are supposed to take 8.4 volts. But my question is how long?

Just wondering what servos you guys are going to run with this setup? This could get costly swapping out servos that will run on 7.4 volts. Still I think that it will be worth it in the end. Chuck

For a new guy that will buy everything new is ok. The rest we will have to pay a lot to renew our equipment

I'm regging mine down to 6.0 volts for servo life. These servos are already stuppid fast and are much faster than me!

Good News!!

It looks like the new backplate gov sensor should work with the Multigov too!!! I bet these sensors will pretty much take over as the preferred way to monitor engine rpms.

Unless you run a YS, or one of the OS pumpers.

Will still work. This was confirmed by Paul Beard (I think) in another thread. It was tested using most major brand engines including YS and pumped OS
