| I was going to power my Beam with A-123 cells and have 13t,14t and 15t pinions. I think that I could get a headspeed I would be comfortable with using one of those.
But now,I have ordered 2, 3S 2200 lipos and an 11t pinion.
With the Scorpion 2221-8 and 13t I get a headspeed using 90% eff of 3356 rpm's.
Im pretty new at helis and want to start out with a pretty tame setup, the 11t pinion should get me about 2617rpms.Will that work?
I also ordered weighted Gorilla Paddles.
Also, the 3 wires on the Scorpion motor are all black. Do you connect the center motor wire to the center yellow wire on the Scorpion ESC. I know the other 2 will determine the rotation direction...so...is this correct.
Thanks for the help. It is hard for me to figure out all of this on my on, I keep getting stumped. No LHS to go to around here...
