Is there a ball link tool that works on Synergy's big balls that doesnt have to be modified?

It's called the Hyper Sizer.

Though you may have gotten a quicker reply in the synergy section.

I'm looking for the ball link tool, not the link sizer.
The tool looks like a needle nose pliers.

Those are typically called "ball-link pliers". "Ball Link tool" can refer to many things - including that chupathingy that cuts the threads in the link so the pushrod goes in easy..

But it's a good question; I know both of my ball link pliers are for the smaller balls & links.

I dont think grinding out the "U" groove to slip over the ball will be good. Might lead to some tweeking since the steel will be thinner. Hyper needs to make a new tool!

Possibly; but a quick search of Runryder showed a few options - some claim the align ball link pliers work well.

I think I'll give a few hobby shops that sell the synergy a ping and ask them if they have any suggestions...

Yeah... the hobby shops I contacted more or less said the only real option is to grind down an existing pair.
