e-BEAM Beam E4 > Red Loctite on Bearings

Is it necessary to lock the bearings in the seesaw and washout arms?

If so, would'nt the green formula be a better choice? Dab of Goop?

It seems like every time I use red loc tite of anti seize compound, I end up with it everywhere except where I want it.

What do you guys think?

Thanks,

Jimmy

I didn't use any loctite during the initial build. The bearings in the head and tail case got sloppy in their pockets pretty quickly so I had to take them out, clean everything and use green loctite on them. Everything has been solid since. To avoid making a mess I put a drop of loctite on something, say a plate, then dip a toothpick in the drop and dab it on whatever I'm working on.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

I did the same thing, green locktite. I have no idea why they say red unless they are talking about the red that comes with the JR kits thats from over seas but is the same as our blue medium strength stuff.
