Radio - Futaba FASST > New 14MZ/12Z/12FG update

12Z version 1.3.2

This software has many nice new features:

1) Individual SOUND adj. - loud timer only
2) Range Check RESET to extend 90 sec.
3) Small letters in names and renaming functions
4) other stuff

But more important, all of the s/w bugs except one that I have reported on FFC are fixed. This is what s/w updates are really for.

hi FourStroker,

hey what do you mean by loud timer only?
does this new update set the timer alarm at one volume level that is not adjustable?

thx

I think he means the timer alarm can be made loud (or soft) independent of the keyboard or other system sounds. Right Richard?

OK cool...the alarm volume was one of the "must haves" when i made my choice between the 12Z and 12FG...........of course now that i have the 12Z, i can't see why i needed to make a choice

Which one is still outstanding? Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release.

New release and manual sorting of model memories CF Card.....

I was able to sort manually the built in memories....but when I switch over to the CF Card I do not get the Manual sorting mode!
Did anybody also notice this?

I would think that it should also work for the CF Card???

Right Steve! So you can hear it.

This update seems like a good one. All my system sounds are obnoxiously loud right now just so I can almost hear the timer beeps. I still think a vibrating pager-style device should have been included for alarm warnings. Can't miss something like that and I almost added such a device to my 9Z but didn't have time.

Just updated my 14MZ as well... donīt had the time to go through all the changes but one small advantage I allready noticed is the SORT function in the MODEL SELECT MENU.

Now I finally can sort the models at my own desires...

I like the Null off/on feature. Now what in the sound menu what is the other sound for? can these be assigned to other functions. Like say mid throttle stick?

14MZ Updating Help!!! "S.O.S"

Guys,

Today I updated my 14MZ radio with all the updates availabe for it downaloaded from the Futaba Japan site, since I have never did one before. And yes my Radio is Asian Region Coded and the TM-14 Module is Asia Region Coded too. Included in these update was the one for 2.4ghz application. After I did everything correctly I replaced the RF module to the TM-14 one, turn on the radio, Pressed the "YES" bottom in the "MISMATCHED FREQUENCY BAND........" screen, then enter to the "FREQUENCY" screen and another "YES" bottom should show up in this step, but please take a look at the second pic and see that there is no "YES" bottom to press. So, I couldn't go any further

What am I doing wrong or Missing? I got six 2.4ghz RX in since last week to upgrade my fleet and it's really sad I can't have them working. Any help from you guys just "any" will be just too much appreciated!!! Thanks!
