I'm just throwing this out there.

Try re-binding the Rx.

IMO there is something not quite right with the 2.4ghz Rx's. I've have drift problems in a 401 while in HH that are resolved by turning the Rx off then on again. I had a strange vibration(more like a really fast flutter) in my DS760. I rebind-ed the Rx, based on a friends advice, and that seemed to do the trick.

I hope it is that easy for ya.

I'd rather be flying

Yes, how have you mounted them? Drifting in HH is almost certainly vibrations getting to the gyro.

I believe Mark is correct.

My Spartan will dift on the ground while spooled up
but not in the air. I believe the extra vibrations
from being on the ground is causing this.

The blue light is on when I fly so yes it is in HH

If I increase the gain anymore the tail starts to vibrate... So its on its limit....

Iv noticed that aswell when its on the deck that it drifts to the left.....

does the gyro come with pc link like sl720?
I no nothing about this gyro but it seems very close to the CSM sl720 in it's setup and mounting, in the csm you need to do the quick setup to get the gyro to know the center stick pulse by default its 1510us but futaba uses 1520 and JR 1500 so if thecentre stick pulse is not close the gyro will drift thinking there is a stick input.

By the way, there is too much similarities between CSM 720 and Spartan 760, is it the same gyro? Or same components?

The USB interface for the ds760 is optional and as far as I know it has been optional for CSM gyros too since they switched to USB. Other than the similar setup routine the two gyros are totally different.

The ds760 samples the rudder neutral each time it is powered on in AVCS mode. If powered on in Normal mode it will use the last known rudder neutral (from the last time it was powered on in AVCS).
