| Assuming 16 thou of shim, the midrange will end up somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 open. The high speed will be about 1.5 turns open. You MAY be able to go leaner than that (down to 1.25), but a lot will depend on your flying style and how heavily you load the engine, esp towards the end of the tank when it'll be leaner anyway due to lower fuel level. Remember that esp for harder 3D, the best performance from the engine is not necessarily going to come from the high speed setting which yields the max power in a largely unloaded situation. You MUST have fuel to make horsepower when you're really asking for it.
