Keep in mind that it will only mask a poorly dialed fan/clutch/clutch shaft assembly. You still need to get the run out very low.

But from what I've heard it also works very well at reducing engine related vibrations.

Hyper hub is nice but you still have to dial it.

I ordered a engine mount center block to hopefully get rid of my foaming problem. If that dosen't do the trick, Then and I will dial indicate the hub. But according to the people at Hyperformance it's not necessary.

Kevin, you dont really need to dial indicate the hub itself. But the top of the start shaft is another story. My clutch dialed in PERFECTLY but I was getting some foaming. SO out comes the motor and the dial indicator and sure enough, the top of the shaft was .006 out. Now its down to under .001 and NO foaming. Smooth as a babies bottom and not a ripple in the tank.

I agree regarding dial indicating the Hyperhub - you can do it if you want, but it's not really necessary. I've reinstalled mine a couple of times and dial indicated it each time. Every time the runout was less than a thousandth with no adjustments necessary. As badraptor stated however, the start shaft is another story.

Even with all my runouts to a minimum, however, and everything balanced, I still have a little bit a foaming in the tank. Heli is very smooth, but a little foaming nonetheless. Doesn't bother me and I haven't had any problems with it, but next crash I will probably try out the new center mount and see if it makes a difference.
