e-Electric Batteries & Chargers > Align 6s 1p 2600 packs

Can anybody tell me whether the align 2600 6s packs are any good, I have heard that they give good power but has anyone used a pack for a good length of time and are still getting good results.

I have used align packs before, but I recently had a 3s 1p 2200 puff up on me with the first charge and that was at 1/3c charge rate. By the second charge it was unsafe to take it anywhere but the shop where I bought it from. Since I will be buying a few batts to go with my TREX500 I am looking for advice on good batts to buy.

Good luck

Well based on everything i had read about align lipos for the sake of a few $$$ extra i would never buy them.

Why risk it?

The difference here in the uk is quite a bit, and it adds up to nearly a new pack if you buy 3 of them, so I was just trying to get a handle on whether they are worth it in the long run.

If not I will just get a bunch of flightpowers and have done.

Good luck

Just buy from US and the differnece is minimal. Lots of people are having the Outrage packs and getting great performance.

th ealign 6s 2600 lipos are great.

theres a huge nimber of people using these including myself and they work great and last the same as the best pacs with a ton of power. nothing like the crappy 3s align puff pacs.

because of the 3s align puff pacs i was very warry of align lipos but for the trex500 i musy admit the 6s 2600 is da bomb

If I like my Trex 500 I will probably get a few more packs so I will seriously consider the Align packs. The other pack I am looking at is the zippy 3300 6s1p from hobby city. The reveiws say these are very good as well.

Thanks

Good luck

You cant go wrong with FlightPower, ThunderPower, Kong, Airthunder, etc.

I have never owned a align lipo that was any good except the 2s rec lipo that came with my 600.

I have 9 of them. They put out the same if not more power than others. I have many cycles on the first few that I purchased. They are still going strong. I know in the begining they had issues with some of there packs but with the 2600mAh 6s packs. They hit the head on the nail. Save yourself the bucks and enjoy the increased power.

In addition, there are atleast 6 other guys that i fly with at our field that fly the align packs also. They all feel the same way. JMTC x 7

I have one pack that has 145 cycles on it. It is doing fine. I have been pretty hard on it, and it has taken the abuse.

These are great reports and opinions. If I see an align pack, at the right price in england I will give them a go.

Thanks

Good luck
