Hallo,

has anyone used that batteries from HobbyCity on a 450 size Heli?

[url=http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6451&Product_Name=ABF_2200mAh_11.1v_18-23C_Lipoly]

The price is awsome and I could bring down the cycles on my KOKAM H5 packs!!

Thanks
Martin

Zippy packs

I use the "R" packs that are made in Korea, lots of power.

And very good prices also, and have had no issues with ordering and shipping. Actually takes less then a week to receive items.

Zippy-R

Same here I have a set of the Zippy-R 4S 2200mah from hobbycity. So far so good, I use them on my 8S setup in series on my TREX 500. I'm new to heli's no 3D yet but with hovering and forward flight, turns and more I get 7 minutes out of them and only put back 1450 to 1550 mah.

Zippy packs are awesome, that's why they are -20000000000 on most of their inventory

Balance Tap

Hello all.

What kind of balance tap do these Zippy packs use? The price is right, but I'd like to know if I need a new balance plug before I buy one.

Thanks,

Jason

Also check these out:

These are the Hextronic G3's, I have a G2 (purple wrap) bought from HobbyCity several months ago- its rocks the house, the most powerful lipo I've flown on the 450, including TP and FP EVO 25's. For like $36 shipped, its a bargain, and I have now about 40 cycles plus (don't keep track) and no apparent loss of power, never gets hot or puffed. I am flying a 450SEV1, originally with MEDUSA 28-32-3400 and 13T pinion for 5.5 minutes of 3D, now flying a JGF 500TH, 13T pinion as well, same flight time.

I just received four of these G3's yesterday (sharing with some friends). I'll post about how these new packs work out.

Never, ever, ever, ever give up.

I'm considering ordering a pair of Zippy-H 5S 4000's for my Neu-equipped IonX. The only mod is the IonX2 style battery configuration. Any thoughts about this potential purchase?

How long did it take to get yours?

I ordered 2 of the 3s1p 2100 -H packs and they supposedly ship on the 5th of July.

Just wondering how long it took for others to actually receive their shipments from this company once they were notified that their orders had shipped?

Thanks

well the first order it took 3 days from when they shipped it... but i have 8 zippy h 3300 3 cells that shipped out on the 5th(probably same shippment as ur) and they still haven't registered as being at customs yet... so maybe there was a holdup on the way here or something

How can you tell if they are in customs? Just curious.

This is my first order with them, so I am a little concerned, but most other people seem to have had good results from them, so I guess I'll just have to be patient.

I'll keep you posted if I receive my shipment, and would appreciate the same in return?

Thanks

u can go onto their website and the tracking number they give you will work at usps.com ... it will say when it arrives in customes and then will tell you it left from customs and normally the next day i had mine... i think the olympics have everything over there weird so there was probably some delay but don't worry they will be fine... im thinking they will come in this comming week

Cool, thanks for that.

If these cells work out, I'm going to get some more, but wanted to try them out first.

Of course by the time I do that, they'll be out of stock again, and I'll have to wait until they get them in, but 2 of these should work for starters.

By the way, do you have any experience with the ESC's they sell? Thinking of picking up a 60a speed controller as well on my next order.

That stinks, I got mine and another full order since then.

Hopefully they will be opening their U.S. distribution center soon.
