HIROBO Freya - Sceadu - Shuttle > Tail Rotor Shaft Is Loose

I just got done building my Sceadu 30. It went together with only one problem, the tail rotor shaft slides in and out approximately 1.5 mm. I know that does not seem like a lot, but it is very noticable and the play affects the gyro's performance.

I have read on other posts that people have used shims to correct the problem. However, I do not find any part listing in my instruction book for shims? Does any one know the part number for these shims or where I can order them from? -Steve

1.5mm is alot! to shim.

On the Freya, I believe there is a small collar/washer
that is used. The shims are used only to very much 'fine tune'
the fit. The shims are 0.1mm thick.

Personally, I'd go back and re-examine the way you built the tailbox.

Oops...

Duh... That should have read .15 mm. Again, it is not a lot, but it is very noticable. -Steve

OK, I'll buy 0.15mm.

Your probably looking for 2506-021 (5x7x0.1 shims).
