Synergy R/C Synergy N9 > Slop in hyperlevers

After about 200 flights I have developed a significant amount of slop in the head which I've traced to the Hyperlevers. It appears that the holes at the ends of the arms for the two flanged bearings have worn and enlarged slightly such that the flanged bearings no longer fit snugly, but rather are loose. I can only image that now that some play has developed it's only going to get worse. I've had no problems with any of the other Hyper parts, but I sure would have thought that the levers should have lasted much longer. Has anyone else had this problem?

get yourself some loctite 609 or 680 (I forget offhand, but it's reasonably low viscosity retaining compound) and use a VERY thin
smear and lock the bearing in place. Too much will contaminate
the bearing itself. If the wear is really bad, then the levers may
need replacing.

Thanks. That's what I have done, however there is enough play between the bearing and the hole that I'm not confident they are going to stay in place, even with the loctite. They definitely need to be replaced, but at nearly $80 for the set, I have a tough time convincing myself to buy them again if this is the life expectancy. That's why I was curious what other's experiences were.

I had the same thing happen with my hyperlevers. I put locktite on the bearings to hold them in and so far they have been holding up.

170+ flights on my "beater" N9 and still tight like new, only the usual washout wear.
Send Carl a pm I'm sure he'd like to hear about it.

Also remember if all your links arent silky smooth you are putting load on all the parts in the system, in the case of the lever the bearing will handle more load then the lever(it's thin in that area) but will hold up for forever unless you have crash damage or your links are tight.
