e-Hirobo SRB Quark - Lepton - XRB Coaxial > Play in tail grips on Sceadu but not on Freya tail.

I was noticing a lot of play in my Sceadu's tail grips. I can wabble them on the shaft very easily. My Freya's tail grips are nice and tight. They have a similar thrust bearing, washer setup, why the difference in play? Any body else notice this? Or is my Sceadu tail just worn out?

Hi

You might be in the wrong forum, there's a nitro hirobo forum if you're interested.

My sceadu tail grips have lost of play. They stiffen when in flight.

Hope this helps.

The play you are seeing in the grips is the way it is suppose to be. I know if seems odd; however, the tail on the EVO5 with the speedup pulley is fantastic.

My bad. I posted to the wrong forum. I do have a Lepton, does that count. Is there a way to move a post?

But I guess you guys answered my question. It's not abnormal to have that much play.

Many of us put freya tail grips and 92mm blades on the Sceadu
The little Katana blades that came with the Sceadu Evo are not great
