I have to visit Edinburgh soon, to assist another company for a few days. No kids,shopping,cooking,nagging; just the quiet hum of the mini-bar.
I still miss them all though (after a good nights sleep).

The only reasonable RC shop in the area is Marionville models at Turnhouse road. It is quite far from the city centre. It is on route towards the Airport from the city centre.
From the centre of town, head West towards Corstorphine (Glasgow). Go past Edinburgh Zoo. Keeping heading West and you will come to a mini roudabout next to PC World. Go straight ahead to the large Traffic light controlled junc. The the Royal Scott Hotel will be on your left and Marionville is opposite.
It's mainly a Plank shop but is does stock some TT parts and it is a Futaba dealer.
